I will post a screen shot of the Favorite people contact launcher below, showing the icons indicating which number has been choosen when selecting the contact from the normal contacts list in the phone by just clicking on the green plus mark. At that point it gives you a selection of the numbers listed for that contact and you can select the one you want without making a new contact or having doubles

Does the one above do this to Boz, I don't know? The one I am on also has the weather patch built in already as well as the Brightness fix that works! I have been SOOOO happy with this one after all the ones I have tried for all these months, that once I got this one with every feature new & old working in it I have been reluctant to try any more. But for the sake of having a FINAL THREAD and a COMPLETE entry in the Downloads section that could be closed, I would try with you to find the best, most stable, and feature rich Home plug with the customizer you posted a few posts back (as that has been the best one I have used & am using up to this point even though there is a newer beta) still has a few bugs last I tried). Let me know what you think or want to do.

The version I favour is an older version, but it runs well and your contacts show up and can be picked from your list, and I love the downloadable packs for it.

I can have ALL the downloadable options as well or at least what you see below, if that is what you mean.

I must not have tried the one you have as I have to use HHC Ver0.8b Customizer to do the downloads & Previews(direct from PPC with data connection), Look at the 1st pic attached for my version of HHC,

2nd pic for all the options it has,

3rd pic is after selecting the Download Apearances in the 2nd pic.

This is how I do it right now. Does your HTC Home plug have the dowload option built in to the main plugin? I can only choose the tabs I want and what order I want them in directly from my plugin from settings\Today\HTC HOME, no other features that I know of without HHC.

Pic #4 is showing the option to choose which number that you will use to call your Favorite contact with. Like yours Boz, when I tap a green plus to add a contact my whole contacts list pops up so I can choose a person (will not show all my contacts & their #'s here in a pic, sorry), tap a person and the 4th Pic below is what you get

! Very cool I think since you could not do this a month ago.

So does your HTC Home version have even more features than mine? Would it also have the weather patched alternate source and working brightness shotcut for the rest of us as well (I know you have never had that bright problem but a lot of us did

)?

Just hopefully trying to help in a good compairison in which Home cabs would be best to post Boz. Maybe even two out lining the differances? What ever you think as you know how to make the best looking and informative posts!

I knew you were referancing the best HHC customizer of them all the whole time 0.8b. I just thought you were talking about a DIFFERENT HTC Home Plug is all. Glad to see you are enjoying the best of the best right along there with me Boz

It realy has come a VERY long way from where it started hasn't it? Well I for one vote for the one you and I are running with the optional contact #'s and weather patch fix included to be the ONE for a new post with your great dirrections on installing this one, the HHC 0.8b customizer, and the additional info for setting up the other weather server and puttting in their own city

! I think if done right, this would stop almost all the problems and most of the questions since this combo is SOOO stable and fully works now!

BTW what do you think about the MORE--> Tab at the top right on the extended view on the Weather tab option?? Or have you even tried that one yet? I LOVE the animated radar views it shows in real time

!

Also, there is now a 2.0 version of the Kaiser Home plugin with several fixes (working profiles, contact # selection, etc.), however it's only available for WM6. This is the version the customizer will download and install for you if the plugin is not detected (on WM6).
