hi.

Is there a way that the music tab will automatically play music without opening first Audio Manager from the Programs and keep it running in the background?

I'd like to use TCPMP for the music tab instead of media player or audio manager. Any ideas guys?

Don't know what rom u run, but it works PERFECT for me on Shadow! I can leave it playing while I do other stuff, I can exit the Audio program, or X'it out of the program, even SR & turn off my device, and the Audio Manager comes up by hitting the note tab. It still has the last song I was on TOO

Follow Boz's instructions EXACTLY in the first post. Audio Manager MUST be installed FIRST! then the rest of your steps. You also have to make a registry tweak so Audio Man. becomes the defaut player. Value needs to be changed from 1 to 2 so the windows one doesn't run from the tab anymore

You can find the route to get to the right REG file also in the first post, it's easy, but you MUST have a reg edit program to do this!

Shadow and Majic have this built in. Go to Start\Programs\System\Reg edit

First, do you want to use Tcpmp as your default music plug in, or are you like a lot of us that use it for Vids WAY to much LOL?

Might be able to make a reg edit with a value that represents TCPMP, but I do not know what that value number would be, or if possible. HMMMM interesting...

If you just want a VERY nice quick launck icon for TCPMP, and the ability to add many more to your Today screen for one touch launch. O2plus would be for you. It is FREE and in the downloads area put there by Boz. Or do a search O2plus cab It rocks

hi gem,

Im using the official WM6 rom released by htc. I followed the instruction, installed AM first before installing Home Plugin, then edit registry changed the value to 2....still when I tap on the music tab, it gives me error message saying "Audio Manager cannot be opened blah blah blah..."

the only way is to open first AM from Programs and let it stay in the background before tapping on the Music tab

Did you Soft reset to save the registry value changes that you made, after you set it to 2? If not it won't stick.

I TOTALY love it to! great UI, and I also use the finger operated contact manager as well for a great touch search contacts list! (but I keep the original as well to keep detailed info).

If you give me a tip on how to show the pics on my posts, I can show you some SKIN
