I find the screen a bit cramped for that. I was using Remote Desktop to control the Corp servers for a few days but again not enough screen real estate to be really functional. Good fun though

Exclamation Re: !! UPDATED !! 6 Button HTC Home plugin+all icons+coloured clocks in 1 package !!

Hi, and thaks Boz for kepping this main post updated I see it is VERY popular. Two questions as I am trying to have all the latest and best cabs/fixes for this myself.

1- does schen_6button_N2A_WeatherPatched_HTCHome.zip now in the main post replace all the mannual work that he originaly posted that we needed to do with all his zips and cabs to get our cities?

2- I noticed a new Brightness fix cab here HTC Homeplug Weather fix - get your LOCAL weather! CAB files now available! - Page 16 - xda-developers

Page #16, post #153 Boz. It says this...

i have a new HTCHome.dll(attach file)it can use the Brighness Shortcut,it's very cool. Can you update this HTCHome.dll or tell me how to add patch in it.
Thank you very much!
Attached FilesHTCHome.zip (100.6 KB, 9 views)
Would this one be a successor to what we have, seeing as that tab still doesn't work out of the box for me? Mabey it can now be in the main post if it is.

Thanks. And please feel free to remove my post if you think it would cluter up your thead, I am only trying to keep my eyes open for any better solutions for a more complete & better 6tab install process.

If you could answer & then erase that would help me a great deal in sorting out all the cabs I have accuired on this one from the beginning

HEY any of you tried VNC's solution to remote desktop? I only heard about it, but can't find the right mobile download and info through google for it Their Desktop PC VNC remote stuff is free and Very easy to set up and works over internet remote! I would welcome any info or first hand experiance on this mobile ver.

Opps, I just read your review, and RD and Pocket are apples and
Oranges. Pocket is used From a PC controlling a WM device, and Remote Desktop can be used BOTH ways I think, I know it goes from SmartPhone and controlls a PC, as in BLUE's case here Unfortunatly, Pocket doesn't seem to enable a phone to controll a PC yet, and cost a bit to The VNC app I refered to is supposed to controll a PC, same as RD, and I think there are FREE versions out there, just can't find them YET.....

Re: !! UPDATED !! 6 Button HTC Home plugin+all icons+coloured clocks in 1 package !!

Some observations to include for those that may benefit.

1. Audio Manager not loading.

When I had audio manager installed to the storage card, I got an error trying to start it from htcHome. When I uninstalled audio manager, then reinstalled it into device memory, no more error.

2. Photo dialing dials a number other than what I want.

If you tap and hold the photo, you get a list of options for calling the various numbers or sending a text message.

Just my two cents.
Hope it helps.
