This is the official release version of the HTC Europe WM6 rom, it is due for release anytime now on their site, it includes radio version 1.48.00.10 and was downloaded from their FTP server.

Important if you have not already installed Olipro v7 2.10 you must install it on your Hermes before you run this rom upgrade, it is available HERE be sure to follow the instructions given there, it is insurance against bricking your Hermes.

Just connect your device via Activesync or WMDC 6.1 and run the upgrade.

You can always install any extras you wish to by looking through the downloads section.

If after upgrading you wish to go back to a different WM6 rom after trying this, you need to select SPL-1.11 and is it hard SPL? during the upgrade.

Sorry i am a little confused about the changing to a different wm6 rom again...
You say that we must select SPL-1.11 ???
But i have Olipro 2.10???
Am i missing something here??

You need to choose that option because the bootloader is different on the factory rom, and will not work if you choose 2.10 and hard SPL.

Ahh ok, so if i remove the IPL and SPL from the factory rom I would then just select 2.10 as normal?

No, it will not work like that, it would be easier to extract the rom to a folder, then extract again, convert the nb file to an nbh file then put this into a folder with a custom ruu wrapper, then it would run with 2.10, this way you do not need to upgrade the radio just the rom.

Hi All, this may sound like a stupid qwuestion but I am new here but will this work on the JASJAM imate as they have not released an official upgrade yet ?

Yes it will be fine on the Jasjam, as it is a Hermes variant.
