Just a more detailed update so far:

Bluetooth is way better with this ROM, I have a Nokia CK-7W car kit and the original ROM had great difficulty connecting to it, staying connected and the call quality was awful. So far the WM6 ROM has had none of the above problems, it connects quickly and automatically and the call quality is much better.

Generally, the phone is more stable and the WiFi connection is better too, it now allows you to specify if a network is hidden before you connect, helping you if you try to connect to a network set to not transmit the SSID. My Bluetooth GPS has gone AWOL, so I have not been able to test it, but in the settings there is a specific External GPS tab, suggesting that you now have more control over your GPS setup.

So I can repeat, THIS ROCKS! Go for it, it really fixes most of the niggles I had with the WM5 Vodafone v1605.

Thanks mate works fine on my v1605. I have a question tough... is it possible to install a 4gb sdhc (sandisk) micro sd on this phone using this rom?

Hi charcall and welcome to 4WM

You should have no problems with the 4gb SanDisk SDHC card, I use one and I always test out the roms I post and it worked fine for me. All official WM6 roms should support 4gb SDHC cards.

I have flashed my v1605 with spl-2.10.Olipro with no problems, when I try and flash with the offical TC rom i keep getting a 260 error. Can anyone help

I want to upgrade to WM6 and get rid of the AT&T branding on my unlocked AT&T 8525, which I am using with a T-Mobile SIM card. Will this version do exactly that? (rom 3.54.255.3 with radio 1.48.00.10)

Yes it will do that for you, as long as you are ok with rom upgrading! I take it the device has Olipro 2.10 on it?
