This is better than a lame suggestion!

Download the cab file onto your PC's desktop, connect your device by activesync, open the storage card on your device through activesync and drag and drop the cab file onto it from the desktop. Now disconnect from activesync find the cab file by using file explorer on your device and tap on it to install.

You can delete it, though I keep all my .cab files in a special "Re-Build" folder on my storage card. That way I can quickly re-install all my apps should I have to perform a hard reset for any reason.

I'm fairly certain it WOULD be possible to create a .cab file with all your settings in it, be it Exchange, network data connections or whatever. However, I have no experience in doing this and I'm not sure what specialist tools it might require.

I have a quick question for you. I noticed some time ago the a new Olipro Ver. came out. You mentioned here...
Important if you have not already installed Olipro v7 2.10 you must install it on your Hermes before you run this rom upgrade, it is available HEREbe sure to follow the instructions given there, it is insurance against bricking your Hermes.

I gather this new Oli version is much better some how (not sure in what way myself), so once it is installed it will load all the new cooked and factory ROMs that are coming out now, BUT... will it still Flash all the OLD but not forgotten ROMs that I still realy like?? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have hesitated in Flashing the New Oli because I don't want to lose the ability to have an OLD SCHOOL FLASHBACK to BLACK!! Which I still realy like.

Hi gem, this version of Olipro version 2.10 v7 is the one to use still, there is a version 2.30 but that is for developers only really and does the same as 2.10 anyway. If there is a new version I must have missed it, have you got a link? I have flashed all the newer 6.1 romsonto my Hermes without problem with 2.10.

The car is still as it was, I have a new toy now my Yamaha R1, so that is getting all my attention at the moment.

Cool deal! Have fun riding ! I still hope you finish that mean machine, I think it has to much potential to waste it!

And for the the Oli that I saw, I will have to get back to you on that one as soon as I can. It may be as you said just the devs ver. But I am curious now..... be patient, I may be slow but I will dig it up if I saved anything on it. I may not have, thinking that it would be blasted all over the place to maybe.
