Official HTC Europe WM6 rom WWE 3.54.255.3 radio 1.48.00.10 (2-8-2007)
This is the official release version of the HTC Europe WM6 rom, it is due for release anytime now on their site, it includes radio version 1.48.00.10 and was downloaded from their FTP server.
  
  
Important if you have not already installed Olipro v7 2.10 you must install it on your Hermes before you run this rom upgrade, it is available HERE be sure to follow the instructions given there, it is insurance against bricking your Hermes.
Just connect your device via Activesync or WMDC 6.1 and run the upgrade.
You can always install any extras you wish to by looking through the downloads section.
If after upgrading you wish to go back to a different WM6 rom after trying this, you need to select SPL-1.11 and is it hard SPL? during the upgrade.

Here is the Operating System and extended rom only (no radio). The same rules apply as above with Olipro v7 2.10! Just extract the rar file to a folder on your desktop and run the RUU.exe file while connected to activesync.

Yes Daron it is a newer build, it is more tweaked and streamlined than the previous version, and it runs rather sweetly and fast with no problems as far as I can see. I will run this for a few days just to see how it goes.

Update!!!
I have been running this ROM all weekend and so far everything has been great! No problems, very fast and responsive. It may not have all the extras that our cooked ROMs have but it does feel nice to be running an "official" ROM. I plan to add some of the extras in and I will report back any issues.

I don't quite get it. Can someone clarify for me. If this rom posted is 3.54.255.3 is the latest, why is the last rom having a higher numbering as it was 3.54.707.3?
Does the last 4 integer tell is that 707.3 is higher than 255.3?
i got my rom for the official website of HTC. test1. just click on free upgrade and "Volla".

Hi,
Forgive what may be a stupid question, but can I use this update on my v1605 (Vodaphone Branded) phone? It is unlocked and I am using it on O2. I have updated it before with an official vodafone ROM update, but I would like the WM6 ROM if it will work.
