I'm in the Philadelphia area, and have installed this on two different roms (Black-X RC and the released version of Satin) and this radio 1.51.00.10 did work at all on the G3 network. ...my provider is AT&T.

never had it on my device long enough to test the battery...

ye...i don't think this update helped any people in the US...i didn't even bother with it...just stuck to 1.50
