USB Charging

I just want to charge via USB on work PC .. when i plug in phone its loading looking for drivers .. installed them form cd .. disable sync ... now its creating a network .. ?/

How can i just charge ?

In activesync, go to file/connection settings, uncheck 'Allow USB sync'! Hopefully that will do it!!

did that .. but its still creating a network .. guess i have to disable advance networking when at work

Hmmmm..... Must do the network bit before syncing, which makes sense I guess... I have found that I haven't had an issue doing this on my work lappy though... Didn't realise it still assigned the device an IP though...

You might check around for a charge only usb cable. I got one as an accessory with something I bought, it has 2 usb connectors on one end one to charge only the other to sync and it has a mini usb on the other end.

remove all associated drivers with the device on your PC.
start from scratch

Plug in the cable to USB on PC. Plug in device.
Dismiss any notifications about installing drivers. Device will charge and PC will be fine.

i use to do that .. but it keep displaying notification each time .. which is annoying ... im ok now .. soerted it out
