Re: HTC Touch Cube

You have to "scratch" your screen from the bottom to top in less than one second, with more pressure than normally. That worked for me...

Re: HTC Touch Cube

Don't scratch too hard though. Remember these screens are not designed for this like the newer Touch screens and are still quite delicate.

And for those with an overgrown fingernail or two, there is still hope for you to!

ClearTouch Crystal screen protector !!!
iPAQ rx5900 Series Screen Protector / HP iPAQ rx5900 Series Screen Protector / iPAQ rx5900 Series Screen Cover / HP iPAQ rx5900 Series Screen Cover / iPAQ rx5900 Series Screen Film - ClearTouch Crystal

All I can say is the one I got is looking GREAT after MONTHS of heavy use, I don't know if I will even get the chance to use the other two protectors before I retire my phone! Put one of these on ONCE and forget it

Re: HTC Touch Cube

I found that every now and then it would stop working. If I ran the ftouchlo prog then it told me off and said it was already running, but then the cube worked again.

Also, it made the contacts tab dissapear off my HTC Home. I could not re-enable it as it was shown as enabled! Uninstall the cab, reset, and my contacts tab is back....

Looks nice, but all in all only has showoff value for me, and the intermittent issue takes that away as well.

Schaps looks like he has a nice version in his next rom tho.

Re: HTC Touch Cube

I have updated the main thread for this and there is a fix for the missing tab now, and it may cure the running problems, have a look :-
HERE (!!! HTC Touch Cube should work on any WM6 device - cabfile !!!)

There is also the latest version of Schaps 6 button to download.

To avoid this increase the sensitivity of your screen. Go to HLKM/HARDWARE/OEM/TOUCH/CALIBRATENOTES and increase the value. I have made it 5 and 8 (hex) and they both make it work much better. I like 5, 8 was a little strong.
