Grand offers . If you'd prefer to go down one of these routes I'll fully undertand. Just let me know mate. My offer still stands obviously.

Re: Replacing LCD Screen on King TyTN
I'd be much obliged to take it off your hands... If I can get it resurrected, I'd have a spare device and that would allow me the opportunity to get into the kitchen and try my hand....

I'd still like to take you up on your offer... Just let me know when you are ready... I can utilize your device whilst trying my hand with the other and sending mine off for warranty repair... The best possible scenario for me all the way around...
AND I just got a job offer for a heckuva lot more than I've made recently... Ain't God good... (not apologizing for that, if I offended someone - please don't take it personal... )

Re: Replacing LCD Screen on King TyTN
Well, I finally got up the nerve to void the warranty on King TyTN and opened him up... It wasn't as nerve wracking as I thought it would be... took two attempts, but it up and running like it was brandy spanking new... The D-Pad connector was the problem all along... found a video on You Tube ( YouTube - Cingular 8525 Screen Replacement & Take Apart) that detailed the procedure to dismantle the phone and a good thread on XDA ( Cause & Fix for Whitescreen + D-Pad failures (a new thing to try) - xda-developers) about what others had done to fix the issue...
I am now a happy camper...
