@boz - twasn't as bad as I thought it was... actually was quite easy...

I feel so technically inclined now... Luckily, I had a T6 screwdriver... without it I wouldn't have been able to crack open the case...

Only a replacement screen unfortunately. As it is only one pixel I doubt you'd get it fix under warranty either. There's usually a 4/5 dead pixel allowance within the warranty.
