!! Official shipped Kaiser WWE rom v1.56.405.5 + radio v1.27.12.11 !!

This is the official original shipped unbranded WWE rom and radio version that comes with the Kaiser (Tytn II) sim free version. It will not work with any devices locked to a service provider until a CID and Hard SPL are sorted, but now that this rom and radio version are available it should not be long before a solution is found.

I have posted it up for future use.

I have extracted the Kaiser rom nbh and converted it into the nb file components, which are:-

PrimarySplash.nb
769.nb
SPL.nb
Windows.nb

Is all we need now is one of the gurus to utilise these files and make us HardSPL, hint hint!

It will not fix anything, and it is the same as the shipped rom that comes with the sim free Tytn II, but when there is an unlocker available for the Hermes II you will be able to use this rom on any device that is locked to a service provider eg AT&T. It will also be used by rom chefs to produce customised roms in the future which will make the device run more efficiently with more applications etc baked into it. So this rom is the basis for a great future for the Tytn II.

Let me see if this is right Mr Boz. If this is the original HTC ROM, would that have the touchflo built in without need for any CAB files etc etc???

If yes, all i need to do is sit and wait for those slow buggers at HTC to get back to Orange with my device unlock code???

Am i close here or a million miles off?! :-S

Yes this has the Touchflo working but the cube isn't part of it if that is what you mean. Doesn't the Orange rom come with Touchflow, whereas you can "spin" through menus, eg contacts?

Yes Mr B, that is exactly what i meant. I was told by a mate that if someone had the genuine original ROM, that would include the BioTouch / TouchFLO / cube / whatever you wanna call it!!! All me, you or anyone else would have to then do (in theory) is get your phone unlocked (by the way, that thing POF made... the HARDSPL thingy... never did *** all on mine for some reason!) by code from your network provider, bang the proper ROM in, code it when prompted and away you go, set sail for home.

Nope. The Orange setup is a comple and total BEEEEEEEEEP. They have totally trashed the hell out of it. How badly? Well when you click start > settings > today --- you expect to see Guava Bubbles, HTC, Orange, Windows Default and finally Windows Green yes? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! This is Orange remember! HTC... HTC... any TRACE of HTC is ridden totally out of this thing. My suggestion to you... try and get an Orange TyTN II and believe me... you'll feel ashamed to have hold of such a superb piece of technology in the palm of your hand cus i was LOVING the thought of having one after reading and seeing what was what on HTC.com and on Matt and Tracey's blog.

Fact is... Orange have ripped it... trashed it and ****** it Pardon the language but ask ANY and i mean ANY Orange TyTN II owner.

Get hold of one mate and see for yourself. It's... sad *sigh*

So anyway, you now see my plight. A ROM with everything all inclusive looks like my goal. Anyone got one?!!! *BEG BEG BEG*

First off Steve I had to edit your post for inappropriate language, please remember this is a family site and we do have a few younger members here!

Yes in a nutshell you have it right on changing your rom, you just need to wait for your unlock code and you will be free to do this. It is worth remembering though that if you have a problem with your device then you will need to put the device back to standard for repairs under warranty, so make sure you have a copy of an Orange Kaiser rom first before doing anything.

I can imagine what Orange have done to the rom, but you can easily load new themes and customise it in the meantime.
