hey boz did that and no good man....i dont know whats going on its a little frustrating especially when i come from doing all this for a long time on my hermes....let me know if you somehow come up with a solution......thank man...

I know what you mean! As I said the problem is more deep rooted, have a read of this thread at xda-developers the problem concerns newer versions of the device.

Do not dare to try it yet unless i am confident of restoring the original Bootloader. Just in case i need to send the set back for maintenance..

OK I installed the Flash SPL thingy ran it on my device and got the bootloader screen. To test if it worked I ran this splash screen and it loaded the splash screen successfully. Heres where the drama started... I went to install Duttys ROM and it was looking like it was going successful. It stopped at like 20 percent and then it failed with Error: 262 UPDAGE ERROR NO progree in percentage. Now my AT&T Tilt does not turn on past the Bootloader screen. From reading on a forum on XDA I found that the device is not bricked and is still salvagable. My activesync is not connected and I have a feeling that's the reason why it's not working. My activesync doesn't connect either which leads me to believe that's the problem. Can someone help me I cant get past bootloader activesync does not establish a connection. How do i establish a connection while its in bootloader. Is that even possible.

Hi ggstatus05 and welcome to 4WM

I would put your device into bootloader mode, start activesync on your desktop and then connect your device to your PC by USB and run the rom, it may take a few tries but it should work, your device will be connected to your PC to run your rom, it may not show a connection but it will be connected.

Hey BOZ thank you for your reply. Ok I was able to load the Factory ROM on my device with no problem. Worked the first time. I tried to do the Dutty ROM and it failed so I had to revert back to factory default ROM. Do you think something is wrong with the DUTTY rom download. I've been searching this forum. Is there a thread with multiple ROMs to choose from and what they include. Maybe I'll just try another ROM. The main reason I wanted the ROM was because of the YOUTUBE DOWNLOADER. Is there a CAB somewhere. I searched google and couldn't find one. Any help would be apprecited.
