!! Flash any rom to your Kaiser with Hard SPL v1 !!

Unfortunately I have a white screen. This is an HTC kaiser model bought directly from HTC. No service provider. Details are as follows on bootloader screen:
KAIS130
SPL-1.93.0000
CPLD-8

Dutch rom version 1.56.404.6

Hey Boz is there a way to flash Hard SPL using my memory card? My usb port on my phone is not working. I just received a replacement Kaiser but I want to revert the SPL and ROM back to the At&t stock. Any ideas?

Yes you can flash Hard SPL from your storage card but you will need to change the rom first which can also be flashed from the memory card. Have a look at this the same applies to the Hard SPL. Also see the Hermes guide here to downgrade your Hard SPL you just use the storage card instead.

I have a tytn II locked to Orange with WM 6.1

Need to unlock

Can this be done and how as some downloads say not for WM6.1

Is there a step by step procedure for this and can a new rom be flashed once unlocked

Hi chique and welcome

To install any rom or radio onto your device you must install Hard SPL first, this prevents possible damage to your device when flashing.

To unlock your device you need to run and install a CID unlocker to your phone.

Some help would be great as to versions of what is suitable

I have read that certaIN downloads are not suitable for WM6.1 or Orange Locked units

Am I right in thinking this is the route

Install HardSPL - just need to no what version

Unlock - using what download?

Flash Rom with - what is a suitable version?

It is all about individual needs on which rom you choose, I would suggest starting with Duutythroys last rom for the Kaiser as a starting point.

I have downloaded Kaiser-HardSPL-3.28

Is this a suitable one

It's difficult knowing what has been superceded as the threads are long on some posts with some people sing SPL1, but the latest one I have found is 3.28
