Using headset and charging

Ok, as the headset uses the USB port, which is also used for charging, any ideas how I can use TomTom in an open top car (noisy) with the headset as it's the only way I can hear the instructions, and charge the device too?

The battery won't last long without being on charge...

Ta.

Re: Using headset and charging

I have bought an adapter from Clove, see these two links extUSB 3-in-1 Adapter from Clove Technology
or HTC Y Cable - 11pin to 5pin + 6pin from Clove Technology
Hope this helps.

Hi Eugene7 and wecome to 4WM

Good to have you here, Davast is spot on with the cable choice so you should now be sorted.

Re: Using headset and charging

As far as getting the audio through the headset goes you can use a bluetooth stereo headset or a regular bluetooth headset and bluemusic software.

I'm also using the 3-in-1 adapter and have yet to have any problems, other then needing two (keep leaving it in my car) and need another so I can listen to webcasts while in work and keep the device charged.

Re: Using headset and charging

Yes, that is a handy piece of kit and is very useful.
