Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
Any one know of the registry tweek to turn off the flashing lights on the Kaiser ? (eg when active and switched on they are: the blue - bluetooth on, the green - wifi active, the amber - gps active)
IMHO they are pointless and just a waste of battery power (not much granted but still a drain). They are annoying in the dark especially whilst in the car cradle paired to my SONY BT5000 Car radio in hands-free mode. I have two lights flashing (phone signal and BT). At home the flashes light up the bedroom all night when by my bed.
My old phone, the SE P990i only flashed when you had missed a call or an email. This was a much better use of them and a good step forward from the SE P900.
I've found this type of notification facility in the call settings of the Kaiser but none anywhere to switch them all off regardless of the state of the relevant connectivity.

Re: Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
There are a couple of programmes to try that may help you here and here.

Re: Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
My wife agrees with you on the night time flashing - I use a free option that doesn't require any changes though - I turn it upside down and put on the carpet next to my bed
haven't stood on it yet!

Re: Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
i turn it upside down at night also
main reason for doing so is so i can hear the alarm (as the speaker is on the back!)

Re: Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
I use a profiling app which turns off the radio, bluetooth and everything else that can make the leds flash during the night time. There is a profile switch scheduled at a time early enough to be before my alarm to switch the sounds back on, and another one later to switch the radio back on (no texts before my morning cup of very strong coffee thank you!). I use phoneAlarm for this, there are other apps.

Re: Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
Nice one all...yes I have to admit I too have turned it over at night, although latest reports are that people sleep less well when their mobiles are next to their heads at night (switched on of course!).
Thanks for the xda links, the apps work brilliantly, especially the scheduling to switch off all loghts between certain times. Just what I wanted.
Thanks again 'til next time.

Re: Turning Off the Kaiser's LEDs
I am glad the apps worked ok, it is neater than putting tape over the LEDs.
