Is it possible to use the Kaiser as external GPS?

Hi guys!

I have on my laptop a great software for outroad navigation.
It's Oziexplorer and it needs to be connected to a GPS.
My question is: is it possible to use the GPS of our Kaiser and make it work with Oziexplorer on my laptop?
Do I need an additional software for this?

PS: I also have the PDA version of Oziexplorer and it works fine, but the Kaiser display is too little for my purpose.

hi Deborah - If I remember correctly, this IS possible, using software such as GPSGATE.

I haven't tried it myself - maybe others have and can advise better.

Hope it gives you a starting point.

Hi Deborah: we have a short topic on this subject Here (Use GPS from Orbit on laptop?) which suggests some applications which will do this for you

Although citing the Orbit, the principle is the saem with the Kaiser.
