Its near where I work. However, the shops along there are full of people who yesterday looked very grumpy and unhappy. I guess the *cough* recession we may enter soon (year right, like we ant been in it for 3 months now) is hurting them.

Re: Best Battery – V6.1, 3G, HSDPA???
All, just to let you all know that last week, I decided to order a different battery for my TYTN II. The external power source was a good backup, but getting a little chessed off in having to plug my phone in for a quick update early afternoon, and then another overnight.
As the standard battery is a 1350Mah (Dynapack), went for a 1600may battery with the same size as the original. Details is here: HTC Tytn II Extended Replacement battery 1600mAh, PDA Batteries
Well, this is the first day with the battery in (charged to full overnight). Unplugged at 7:00am this morning, with 1.5hours of bluetooth music on the train this morning, lots of emails via MS push, phone connection to edge (not 3G), and several phone calls.
Its now 2pm, and my battery is showing 44% full, whereas last week, doing the same showed the battery down to 18% - so much better.
Just in case this helps anybody else out there.

Thanks for that jaffab. Great tip. Do you happen to know what the relative weights of the two batteries are?

Re: Best Battery – V6.1, 3G, HSDPA???
Depends on what you had before. In my cases, the new extra length battery is lighter than the original OEM - about 2 onces. Ok, not a lot, but a little lighter. Its 4:20pm, and battery now 27%. That should now see me home (with another 1.5 hours of blue tooth), and into the everning. Rember this is a new battery, so things can only get better as it 'stretches its legs'.

Re: Best Battery – V6.1, 3G, HSDPA???
Cool. So a win/win then. It's the same size, lighter and greater capacity. Shame they don't do one for the Touch Cruise yet. Whilst I do get plenty of battery life out of the standard, more is always welcome and if it doesn't weigh any more then the only reason not to is cost!
