TyTN II and WM6.1
hehe - I'm a sucker for new software!
What is the WM6.1 like on the TyTN II? Which ROM is most like the default that hasn't been customized?
Best regards,
TyTN II.

Re: TyTN II and WM6.1
WM 6.1 has a few improvements over WM 6 most noticably Internet Explorer which is faster to load pages and has other options such as zoom, the other is threaded SMS whereas all texts with the same person are in a threaded format and you can view the whole text conversation in one thread. The overall speed of your device may be slightly faster too.
If you wish to upgrade without too much customisation the standard 6.1 rom that is available from HTC should be ok for you, just go to their site and download it.

Hi Frietje and welcome
Did you hard reset after the rom installation? It is good practice to do so as the drivers can be kicked in properly for smoother running.

I think one of the biggest advantages of wm6.1 is with the newer radios you get better battery life than wm6.0. Threaded SMS is nice too

Re: TyTN II and WM6.1
Threaded SMS? i like the old one.
How do I hard reset?
In the new rom is only bluetooth version 2.0/2.0 +EDR the older version not working yet.
In the old version you get a message that you have send the SMS in the new one no message only a message under the first incomming sms.
Maybe its new and i like it in the future.

Re: TyTN II and WM6.1
You can turn off the threaded SMS you know.
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s\OEM]
"SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:0 -> Change it to "1"
To hard reset hold down the two soft keys between the red and green phone keys and hit the button in the hole at the base of the pone that you soft reset with, all at the same time.

Re: TyTN II and WM6.1
@mcmexican - thanks for the tip. I just use Schaps Advanced Config app to change it (and many other things!)
@frietje - remember a hard reset will WIPE all info from your device - make sure you have a backup of all the info you want to keep on either a PC or a storage card.

Re: TyTN II and WM6.1
Which version of the Kaiser do you have Narkolitar? "Most" service providers have released a WM6.1 ROM for the Kaiser now.
