Sorry James- I replied earlier, but the post has gone missing!

The O2 Calendar is an old problem. Have to admit I didn't test it on the Orbit2, and I'd have hoped it would have been fixed.

Like Boz, I cant reproduce your keyboard numerical problem- al works fine for me. If all else fails maybe try a hard reset?

Re: Orbit 2 is NOT launching tomorrow

I picked one up from our local O2 store today. They had 2 in stock.

I've not booted it up yet, but first impressions are that it feels quite plasticy. Definitely not as sturdy feeling as the Touch or the Voda Kaiser. After the Touch I thought it was slightly bulky, but quite light for its size, which could explain the plasticy feel.

Re: Orbit 2 is NOT launching tomorrow

Interesting Dave- plasticky is a term that wouldn't have crossed my mind The O2 is much less plasticky than the Trinity in my view- the slightly soft matt back gives it a quality feel, and though light, it feels solid in the hand.

Yikes... that is surprising - HTC build always feels Rolls-Royce to me, even the (light) Orbit !.
I ordered blind without actually seeing/feeling it - because of all previous models being so sturdy.

Oh well, there is always the 14 day cooling off period - I could get a Kaiser, but the Orbits are so small and light that I can forgive the lack of keyboard.

Re: Orbit 2 is NOT launching tomorrow

I think the Orbit 2 feels very nice and very light in my hand and the build quility seems fine to me, and I am fussy about my devices!

I don't think you will disappointed, let us know you thoughts once you get it.

Technically it was Oxford St, (on the corner of TCR! )

Actually amazed that I resisted! I know it sounds very shallow but I just didn't like the look of it. I thought it was going to be be black but it's a shiny chrome finish and *ahem* a bit too "girly" for my liking!

Also I think with the current combo I have, it's really an Exec replacement that I'm after.
