Give us your feedback on the new Polaris variants the HTC Touch Cruise and O2 Orbit 2
Welcome to a new forum especially for the Polaris and it's variants.
Now that the Polaris is launched with it's variants the HTC Touch Cruise and the O2 Orbit 2, please give us your thoughts and feelings on owning one of these great new devices.
Or even if you are thinking of buying one and have any questions about them, please ask.
I have the O2 Orbit 2 and think it is one of the best devices released for a while, a fantastic replacement for my HTC Trinity.

Re: Give us your feedback on the new Polaris variants the HTC Touch Cruise and O2 Orb
As the 4WM moderation team know, we have been testing some Orbit2's prior to the public release, and I have to concur with Boz- this is the best WM device released for a long time.
It seems to have escaped the sluggishness experienced by a lot of TyTnII/Stellar users, and the TouchFlo interface works extremely well. Add a very responsive GPS, and you have an excellent device.
Now, which do I prefer- my Ameo, or the Orbit2? Both have their strenghts, but as an everyday device, the Orbit wins on points

If anyone DOESN'T like their orbit and is looking for a loving home where they know the device will be well cared for and given regular exercise...

I Think ive found a couple of bugs would be interested to hear if yours do the same.
The O2 calendar today plugin doent work at all.
When trying to edit an appointment with touch keyboard it will only enter numbers even from the querty board. If i change to the standard windows keyboard it works OK. I havent noticed this happen anywhere else with the touch keyboard.

Doesn't matter how long the queue is if I'm at the front of it

James- the O2 Calendar issue is an old one. Have to admit I didn't check it while testing
I can't replicate the key entry problem- I've tried editing a calendar entry and all the keyboards work correctly.

I think you will have a long wait for my Orbit 2 Jim, it is a keeper for me.
Neil you forgot to mention the excellent FM radio and the free Co-Pilot 7!

I'll join that queue Bassey. Or more probably I'll buy the HTC version instead.
