Re: Orbit II Screen Protector

Just ordered a DuraSec HighTec through Amazon to go with the replaced Orbit. Grand total £8.86 delivered.

Re: Orbit II Screen Protector

Is that a matt or shiny finish?

Ditto. Mine was despatched yesterday. They arrive from Germany via Deutsche Post, takes 2-3 days I think.

There's no choice. It is a fairly shiny finish, but noticeably less so than the unadorned screen.

Re: Orbit II Screen Protector

Well, I have now fitted a screen protector - went for Martin Fields in the end. It fits very nicely, theres no cutout for the front camera but thats doesnt bother me, the camera seems to work quite nicely through the protector. I spent a long time cleaning the screen with a 'blower brush' (like you would use for camera lens cleaning) before fitting the protector, and it seems to have paid off. It looks good (and by that I mean it looks like its not there!), and it seems to be a lot better quality than the supplied protector - I think it will be quite a while before it will need replacing.

Re: Orbit II Screen Protector

I've used the Martin Fields screen protectors in the past and been impressed by their clarity and longevity.
