I would appreciate it if someone else could check this out for me.

All holidays will have to be east of Greenwich now

PS I have used a free program VisualGPSce to check the co-ordinates coming from the GS and these are correct.
Hmm a deadly silence from other users

I emailed HTC about the coordinate error but have had no response. Does anyone have a contact in HTC?

I've taken a few photos and will examine the EXIF data and confirm for you. I'll be about an hour as I have a few bits to do first

I can confirm that this works correctly for me (although I am using the Kaiser (Vodafone V1615)).

Thank you for doing a test I have just received the following from HTC

"Dear Mr. Richard Davies
Thank you for contacting HTC Europe support

In response to your query the device should be branded and the software
available supported by your operator, our devices come with a default
application in order to capture the coordinates on the picture, if this
is not working in your branded device maybe a simple hard reset might
restore the device to default and fix the issue.

Kind regards

Fernando Olea
HTC Europe Support"

So it would seem that the problem is with the O2 Orbit 2 not the HTC units. I am reluctant to do a hard reset as advised by HTC as I think that this may result in CoPilot not recognising my hardware. Am I right in thinking this?

Does anyone know what O2 support is like?

Re: O2 Xda Orbit 2 Geotagging

You should be fien with CPL it has no licensing issues like TomTom. O2 support vary from good to useless - depends on who you end up with.
