XDA Orbit 2 and today screen

Hey i have just purchased a XDA orbit 2. This may seem a really dumb question but on the widows mobile website it shows a picture of large shortcut icons above the date. On my xda i only get large shortcut icons in the start menu so how on earth do i get them on to the today screen like in the picture below (picture from google but there is a similar one on windows mobile website)

Re: XDA Orbit 2 and today screen

Hi Aidan

The reason you can't get them on your Orbit 2 is that it runs the Touchscreen version of Windows Mobile (known as Windows Mobile Professional). The picture you see is from a Windows Mobile Standard (non-touchscreen) Smartphone such as the HTC Tornado (i-mate SP5(m)).

There are application launchers that can give access on touch screen devices and my personal favourite is iLauncher from SBSH but if you ask the question you will get many other answers as to favourite launcher apps....

PS - I've just dropped you a personal mail about your username.....

Anyone recommend any good freebie launchers?

Try O2 Plus v2.3 for onscreen shortcuts, it is available here
