Orbit 2 randomly connecting to internet
Hi Guys, Graffen may well have answered this point in my previous post. My issue was that I would glance at my phone to find the symbol at the top showing that 3g or hspda data was being exchanged. When I clicked the icon and then oened the dialoue box, it would show how long the mobile internet had been on for. in some cases hours! if Skyoe was offline, as well as Messenger, why would this be so, and how can I stop it when I get my replacement handset?
Cheers.

Re: Orbit 2 randomly connecting to internet
Did you have the HTC Home plugin setup? I find that, as soon as I turn on the device, this connects and tries to download the weather data! I wish I could tell it to only download the weather if connected to Wifi or Activesynch!

You can tell it to not download weather automatically. Go into the city selection screen, then options then uncheck download weather data automatically.

Re: Orbit 2 randomly connecting to internet
Ahh, brilliant. Cheers Dave. I hadn't noticed the options menu in there before.

Re: Orbit 2 randomly connecting to internet
Can you give us a list of all the apps you have installed. Ooh, just had a thought. Have you got aGPS set to poll for data to help the GPS lock-on times?

Re: Orbit 2 randomly connecting to internet
Your device will always connect, the cost comes if it downloading data as you only pay for what you download. Is it downloading anything?
