Co Pilot again!!

Guys,

After my Orbit 2 died on me, I have just receied my new one!

I have it on charge, but decided to install the CoPilot CD in the meantime. It went through fine, until it gave me an error. It said the keycode was wrong. The strange thing was it gave a key code that did not match the one on the copiolt card in the box!! Nor does it give me the option to enter a key code. So the install just stops. Any ideas?

If you go into the SD card, into Copilot - Save there should be a file called pk.txt. I believe this stores the key of the last activation. Can you try renaming it and see if Copilot prompts you for the key?

I have left the copilot box at home. Is it possible to insert the blank SD card into the device, and then load the software from the CD?

will it have any link to the CD supplied in the box?
The reason I say this is that the card in the box had one product key in it. which I inputted into the phone. Fine
However the CD installation falls over citing an invalid key number. But I never get a chance to put a key number in, and the one it cites as the wrong nuber is different to the one i have entered into the phone!!

I have to admit I didn't try installing from the CD. Do you not have the original SD card?

yeah I do - it is in the phone now, how do I access it - through explorere?

Yep. Does it not auto install? Just out of interest have you got a Transcend or a Sandisk card?
