TTN6 auto connects to 3G/GPRS

I have been using CoPilot Live 7 for a week now, with no problems on my new HTC Touch Cruise. I have now loaded TTN6 from the supplied CD and emailed TomTom who have transferred my activation code from original TTN6 to this device (only took 2 hours from emailing support@tomtom).

However, when I start TTN6, it connects to my T-Mobile 3G/GPRS even though I am not using TomTom Traffic and have it disabled. I have checked all the various screens in TTN6, but cannot find anything that says it is connecting to T-Mobile at start up of programme. This did not happen when I had TTN6 on my MDA Vario3 with the same sim card.

Any one know what I have to do to stop TTN6 trying to connect to T-Mobile?

Just a shot in the dark but is it maybe trying to establish a connection with the TomTom server for the first instance in order to register the new license?

That's also the only reason I can think of for it wanting to set up a connection on startup.

My installations have never done it as I always manually activate so I know all the codes and can write them down come hard reset time!
