Touch Flo & Photos
Hi, I have a lot of photos on my SD card, they are in several different folders in 'My Documents' on the card. Can I view them using the touch-flo interface?
Thanks in advance

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
I take it you mean the cube not Touchflo?

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
If the photo album does not show your pics when you open photos on the cube it is because you have folders within folders which will not be seen by your device, you need to move them out into individual folders on your storage card.

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
So if I set the camera to store to the SD card, & it stores to DCIM\100MEDIA by default, I won't be able to see these pics in the cube's Camera Album? That doesn't make much sense...
It did show fine from the SD when I originally got the phone but for some reason it only now shows what is on the device rather than the card...

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
Just checked with another Orbit2 user where I am currently working - theirs shows the pics from their SD card in the cube's camera album... How!!! What's gone wrong?
Could it be anything to do with my SD appearing as "Storage Card 2" & "Storage Card" appearing in the device file list? I am using an 8GB SD in place of the supplied 1GB card... presumably the phone has decided the 8GB card is "...2" & the original card should retain its own reference on the device...?

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
Have you moved any of the system files or Explorer cache to the storage card?
The storage card 2 problem was often seen then because the device cannot initialise the card in time for the system files to load so creates an erroneous one instead.
Whichever, Card2 is an error. Have you tried a soft reset with the card removed, then try reinserting the card?

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
Thanks for the reply... last night I checked the "Storage Card" didn't contain anything I wanted & deleted it. I then tried to rename "Storage Card 2" but it wouldn't let me. This morning I see "Storage Card" is there with all my stuff in it & "Storage Card 2" has disappeared. The pics now show in the camera album.
Strange cos I did actually try deleting the "Storage Card" earlier in the week with no success... it just recreated itself alongside "...2".
Thanks
Eddie

Re: Touch Flo & Photos
Glad it worked, but if it happens again, make sure you try any deletions with the physical storage card removed. The Storage Card/Storage Card 2 issue is a problem of logical drive assignment, so if you try to delete one, you may well end up deleting the contents of the genuine card, unless it's removed, and therefore safe
