Websites using scripts

Hi

This may be a silly Question i did search first

Some websites want to run scripts, and the internet explorer on my Orbit 2 doesn't seem to support this. Left stuck with non functioning web page buttons etc (e.g. yahoo webmail)

It that the end of it?

Can I get the Orbit 2 to pretend to be a WAP browser it doesn't get asked these difficult requests?

Something called Esmertec Java Jbed is included in programmes but seemingly not installed? what is this for and would either install options Browser vs Local files help this or for that matter anything else ?

Thanks

Re: Websites using scripts

Yeah, your browser needs to support JavaScript which, obviously, PIE doesn't. Have you tried Opera (I think that comes with the Orbit 2, or, at least, it does with the Touch Cruise)?

If not, maybe try OperaMobile, which is a Java based app. Dasiey did a great piece on getting it set up a few weeks ago. a quick search should drag that up for you.

No Opera on Orbit 2 from O2.
