Trying to customise Orbit 2

Hi all, i am trying to customise couple things on my phone and i cannot find how to do it, i have checked the user manual and gone through the phones various menus but cannot seem to figure out how to do the following so wonder if anyone knows if these are possible and if so how to do it.

- How can i get the Amber light to flash when i receive a New MMS, i can set it to flash for a new email and SMS in the Notifications Settings but for anything related to MMS the option seems to be greyed out, any ideas why this maybe?

- How do i see what time a text, email, mms was sent to me. I only get the date of when it was sent if the message is more than a day old, if i receive it on the day i get the time but the following day it reverts to just showing the date as it is more than a day old. Annoying when i have my phone off day before and then receive the text the following day on powerup but do not know what time it was sent. Is there a setting to have the times showing in my inbox?

- Is there a way to change the Soft Key applications on the Today screen, currently left is Calendar and right is Contacts, tried to look everywhere for this but cannot seem to find it maybe its not possible or i am not looking in the right place and completely missing it. I know with previous non-WM mobiles i have had i could do it but this is my first WM mobile so quite new to it.

Once again apprecaite any help with the above.......cheers

I think that this may be a consequence of having the mixed MMS and SMS in the Orbit 2 Rom. You'll probably have to wait until you can flash a new ROM.

No such setting exists; the only way to see the time is to open each item.
There are third party email programs which may be better, or possibly one of the apps that threads SMS conversations. Either way, you have to find additional software to install to do this.

This is a registry setting and can be tweaked. But instead I would recommend buying an excellent program, SK Tools, which does clean up and various improvements, including re-assigning soft keys.

Hi Pav I can help with your 1st and 3rd problem but as cyclist said there is no answer to the second unless there is a third party application that I don't know of.

For the LED's try the applications in this post here , and to change the soft keys use the cab file from this post here , it will leave an icon in settings once installed.
