My o2 XDA Orbit 2 Unboxing Video !!

As promisied here is my unboxing of my shiny new o2 XDA Orbit 2 !! It's my very first ever unboxing video so it is probably somewhat embarrasing but oh well i tried!!. Watch out for my fruedian slip towards the end of the video. I was tired after a long day at work!! Anyway hope you enjoy it !!

Very well done WBP

Only two comments - next time unplug the fire alarm as it kept on beeping and at the end you refer to it as the end of the Xda Trion unboxing.

Good video work though and a good commentary, and well done for the one handed undoing of the remote control, that is not easy to accomplish with two hands!

Ahhh! Was not sure if the beeping smoke alarm could be heard or not. It is a pain to be honest and i am not tall enough to reach it to replace the battery. I am thinking of getting a new one fitted by a professional smoke alarm fitter!! I see you spotted my freudian slip at the end !!! I only relaised when i made the video what had happened!! I guess it was because i was tired and thinking how much of an improvement the orbit 2 was and it sort of slipped out !!! Doh !!! Glad you enjoyed it though. I was quite nervous to start with !!!

Not a problem, definitealy need to get that alarm fitted though as we dont want you gettign fried!

I think the slip is understandable in all the excitement!

Great video WBP- and the manual dexterity is awsome!

Re the smoke alarm- if you have any standard light fittings near where you want the smoke alarm, it may be worth looking for one of the Fire Angel models- these fit into a light fitting (then replicate the bulb fitting so you can still use the light!) and take their power from there, so keeping the internal battery constantly charged (one of the very first Dragons Den successes IIRC

)

Hey that's worth a thought as my smoke alarm is near a light fitting!!. Any old excuse to get a fireman to come to my house !!!

Nice video Wirral. Looks like you did the whole thing in one take, very impressive. I'm also amazed that you did it on your own so everything was one-handed! Firstbuddha was cameraman for me which made my job a lot easier.
You probably know this by now, but just in case, I'm told that the full manual is on the CD.

Hi Cyclist. So glad you liked my video!! It was an interesting experience to hold a camera in one hand and do the unboxing with another !!To be honest i did not think i'd pull that trick off!! But i guess that's all part of the fun. As to the manual i did indeed discover it on the CD and have since downloaded it. But to be honest i guess the best way to learn is to have a good play with the Orbit!! But it is useful for things you are unsure of.
