co pilot again

Its like this........

ive had a prob with it from day one and after finding this frorum ive had read all your comments , found the phone number to ring off here too. Ive bought a new mem card cos lots of people said it was the mem cards and tryed re installing it from the copilet home screen. when i install it for the home program it says its all installed ok so then i "create a map" on to my mem card .....all ok.

so try to install it to my orbit 2 and it seems to install ok . It starts up and askes me to choose some options, but this is where things start to go wrong. There is nothing in the drop down menus to choose from and also as soon as you click on the drop down bit it moves on to the next question. Even when you have got down to the last question it will not let you choose next. so got bored of it and canceled it. Then every so often it comes up on my screen about the licience agreement and i click decline to get on with somthing else and it just keeps coming up .

so that was the last straw i deleted it off the mem card until i have some answers from you guys .

HELP PLS

Re: co pilot again

Tricky one that. I've only used Co pilot for the last few days so i am by no means experienced !! However my first thought would eb to do a clan install of the orbit 2, and copy the co pilot files to a brand new memory card. . That should sort out your problem as it could be be that you have a missing cab file somewhere or a dodgy memory card. That's all i can think of for now...i am sure some more knowledgeable people can guide you further!!! Best of luck !!

Hi Dubford,

Can you be a bit more specific where you are getting to? Are you saying you can launch Copilot but then get stuck at the licensing screen?

Re: co pilot again

I have both Co Pilot 7 and TomTom 6 and I much prefer TomTom for it's accuracy and clear cut instructions, and I have thoroughly tested and used both. I wouldn't recommend a cracked version of TomTom as you cannot update and it will cause issues such as you have at the moment, use the legal version and it will run as smooth as silk.
