HTC Touch Cruise, Sent sms alert

I got my new cruise yesterday and im loving it, just wondering if any one knows how to disable the alert sound/vibrate for a sent sms, I like the pop up but the sound/vibrate is annoying me. I can't find it in the sounds and notifications settings page. thanks in advance, tom

If you go phone>options you can disable vibrate there,to stop the sound you can do it by editing the registry using a reg editor such as Resco Explorer (free trial available) go to:-

HKLM>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>Inbox
Tap and hold on a blank part of the screen and create a new key called Settings and within that key create a DWord value called SMSNoSentMsg and set its value to 1 , soft reset and it is done.

Do not forget this change will be lost if you hard reset, let me know how you get on.

if you're happy to play in the registry, try the following:

HKCU\Control Panel\Notifications\Default\Options

change the dword value to whatever suits your needs.

here are the following dword value and corresponding results:
0 - show icon
1 - show icon and play notification sound
2 - show icon and vibration
3 - show icon and vibration and play notification sound
4 - same as 0
5 - same as 1
6 - same as 3
7 - same as 3
8 - show icon and notification bubble
9 - show icon and play notification sound and show notification bubble
10 - show icon and notification bubble and vibration
11 - show icon and play notification sound and show notification bubble and vibration
