Orbit 2 pricing
Hello All
Well my contract is up with Car Phone Warehouse on the 20th April. I've been doing some homework and looking round for the best deal so I can go straight through to retentions and give them the facts. Any how, The best I can come up with on a 12 month contract is £199 for the handset on a £30pm contract.
Does anyone know of a better deal floating on the interweb?
Also....
Can you buy an XDA Orbit 2 without a contract and how much is it?

Try an 18 month contract with o2 for £35 per month. Orbit 2 will set you back £49.99. Good deal me thinks !!

That is a nice deal - missed that one? I do like 12mth contracts - it gives me the chance to change handset regularly. However, I will seriously consider that one.

Only on Ebay and the like, because it is an O2 exclusive.

You could also have a look at the likes of expansys for HTC Touch Cruise. This is what the Orbit 2 is before O2 got their hands on it. Everything is the same on the Touch Cruise with the exception of a slight change on the outer body and no O2 customisation. |

The £35 per month 18 month contract also includes a free bolt-on (such as the unlimited web/data browsing) worth £7.50 a month. Also included is the copilot 7 software, car charger and suction holder and a 1GB Micro SD card, which holds the co-pilot software and maps for UK and Ireland.

That is the deal I did £35/Mth 18 Month Contract free Web Bolt On, but got the Phone for free, from the O2 Shop in The Lowry and a free Leather Case plus £30 trade in for a vey old Nokia 3310.
The discount outlet stores can do better deals than your high street stores so worth a visit.

OOOH do tell us more about the leatehr case, i am intrieged as there is not anything out there (yet) for the o2 XDA Orbit 2....

The leather case although it fits is about 5-10mm to long as it is an iPhone Case, that should of been £19.99 RRP so will be going on eBay. Picked up a nice PDair Case that fits nicely and meets my requirements.

Looks like the 18mth one so far, although a lot can change in the next month. The ironic thing is my wife uses the contract with her phone and I have the upgrade phone away and stick the works Orange SIM card in it |
