Re: Orbit 2 - One month on
The original Orbit was, in my opinion, a bit of a dog. This new Orbit2 is much better all round I think.

Re: Orbit 2 - One month on
Being able to use the spinny ringy thingy as a d-pad is one advantage over the original Orbit.

Yes - Orbit 1 was very impressive yet frustrating because it was slow and had little memory.
The whole GPS / Sat Nav experience is far, far better now with Orbit 2 also

Re: Orbit 2 - One month on
Yes I'm still enjoying mine. Like a knooob I've got it so that I need a pin number everytime it goes to sleep.. So a hard reset is coming on, me thinks....
I'm very tempted by one of the skinny roms, but not having the original O2 rom, I'm scared....
Other than the absolutely seemingly useless built in 'Streaming Media' program, what else would you lot actually like to be rid of?
Yes, the screen is sooo reflective as to render it almost useless and I haven't seen any UV or whatever screen protectors for the Orbit II yet. I'll be back to texting under tables soon, outside in the summer, whilst waiting to hear "You boy. Stop texting in class".
Oh and the camera makes me wonder if I've got the DT's, everytime I use it. I swear it waits until I think it's done it, for just when I move my hand after it's all over, only then to actually do it's dirty clickin business....
On the other hand, you can't knock being able to listen to Dads Army in bed, or watch NewsNight in the bath, over the wifi (no risk in life, no pleasure! lol)...... Yes shield your eyes to the horrror, the horror, of that one... As for playing things from it, over BT, via my home HiFi.. Please don't make me give it back now, please....

I find it easier to use the central 'Action' button as the shutter release, as you can push it without shakling the camera so much.

Just as long as you remember not to have the front camera working at the same time

Re: Orbit 2 - One month on
I've had the orbit 2 for a few weeks now and apart from the shocking battery life (less than 2 days), it's fantastic.
My query is about Windows Mobile 6.1. I got my orbit 2 from o2 so when and where will the 6.1 upgrade be? I've tried the auto update, but it doesn't find any updates. do we have to wait for O2? HTC? Anyone know?
