help cant get bluetooth or wifi to work

just tried windows live and it also works so seems to be a IE problem rather than a problem with my wifi or router.

when logged into windows live if i press red phone to exit back to main screen and check running apps, IE is now running along with windows explorer.

if i hit running app symbol for windows explorer it takes me log in screen

if i hit running app symbol for IE it takes me to last open page for windows explorer.

I definately recommend downloading Spb's Mobile Shell, it makes the phone more intuative.

If you're getting external wifi access through another app it's likely to be a configuration change. How easy it will be to find this change is a different matter. When you go into Settings - Connections - Advanced - Select Networks, what are your settings? They should both be connect to internet.

in network management both say "my work network" if i hit drop down menu only other option is "my ISP".

in wifi it says my network cards connects to "work" rather than "the internet"

Can you try changing it both to myISP, and your Wifi to the internet?

didnt make any difference,might leave it just now and play about with some other stuff before doing a hard reset and see what happens then.

know doubt i will be back with more problems

right,have done hard reboot and set it all up again and get the following

1 switch on wifi and try to connect to IE but get connection lost message BUT if then select favourites then i can connect to web no problem(google & AOL). do i just need to change my home page?(it wont connect to O2 pda site)
2 if i am out and about and connect to IE using gprs it will connect to O2 pda site no problem.

Is this normal or do i need to change any settings.

Very strange! I have just checked the O2 site and it works fine for me with wifi on o2uk.co.uk, have you tried going to start/settings/connections/wireless lan/power mode and setting the slider to best performance? It probably won't help the O2 problem but it will help overall.

that's where it is set at. if i type google in search bar with wifi on it connects to google through router but if i type yahoo it tries to use gprs, now more confused

tried again and google now tries to use gprs if i type it in but uses wifi if selected from favourites.

can you suggest a few sites to try connecting to using wifi and do i need to add anything to name in text box to say mobile site ?????

just used your O2 link and it worked fine so dont understand why when connected to wifi and i type something in it then tries to connect using gprs .
