Contacts

when i have entered contacts,i selected new contact then sim contact and entered name and phone number.
as this only allows one number per name i then selected add to contacts where i can enter additional numbers for each name.

problem is now if i select contacts i have 2 entries for each name (one for contacts and one for sim) showing on list and cant see how to have only one name appear with all numbers under that name.

probably something simple but i cant find it

Use the attached cab file and soft reset after installation, it should cure your woes.

hi thanks, now am i am trying to remember what to do with a cab file,

i have unzipped it on PC,next copy to memory card then open file, is that correct. First windows phone and it shows

No worries, just transfer the file as it is to your device don't unzip it, and then tap on it to run it on your device.

It did say this might work as this file is designed for an earlier version of windows mobile though so dont know if that has anything to do with it or not.

Works fine on my Orbit 2, which is a Polaris in disguise!

I have O2 orbit 2 as well so dont know what i am doing wrong,dont seem to be having much luck so far

Try installing again.

tried installing on top but did not work so will try uninstalling and deleting from memory card then install it again.(tomorrow )

will let you know how i get on
