Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!
You know, having a hangover is not the most pleasant thing in the world, especially combined with exhaustion after a very long week at work and in much need of a holiday. But that did'nt put me off havign a play around with my Orbit this afternoon. And you know what? I finally cracked it. i finally sussed out how to get the HHC customiser working on my XDA Orbit 2 !!!
Perhaps havign a hangover is not so bad after all......

Re: Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!
LOL !!!!! Well i looked at my cab files saved on my PC and had a look at the cab files on my orbit and i realised one was missing!! It appears i had not downloaded a directory cab which apparently HHC Customiser needs to work successfully. Funny how recovering from a hangover and exhaustion can make things jump out at you. So i duly downloaded this followed by the HCC Customiser and to my delight it worked !!!!

Re: Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!
Awesome Bagpuss... How, errmm sexy does your device look now..
Oh go on screen shot it, for us.... Is your homescreen all pink, girlie n fluffy... ? lol.. (runs for cover..)
Using your philosophy I'm now going to go and get hammered, so as to finally get HTC Streaming Media, to actually stream something......!
O and that's a (the) big O... I've just noticed, you're one lady who in the words of the Buzzcocks is an O addict...... You've had every O2 device going haven't you?
As a matter of interest has anybody got any shares in HTC...!.. Mmm now there's a thought..
Oh and anybody any ideas how to let somebody ftp to my phone.. Would I have to open up my home firewall, or set a DMZ on the router?

Re: Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!
Easiest way is to use something like Cambridge ftp host:
Cambridge - vxFtpSrv (FTP Server)
Once done you'll need to find out what IP addres your device has on your home network and then forward a port to it. Your friend will then use your public IP address (not your device ip address) and the appropriate port number to connect. Depending on your router you may have to specify the traffic type allowed through the port too.

Re: Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!
Hehehe! At the moment i have a navy blue background on my Today screen. Haven't really played around creating a proper theme yet (my next challenge!!!) But i will do a screenshot this evening when i am back in from work for you to have a look at. As to the big O, well i've always been with o2. I've had good service from them ever since the days when it was called genie and then called o2. The advantage is that i am an o2 select customer and as a result i get discounts when i upgrade my phone which is nice I next upgrade in September. Hmmm.......decision time !!!

Re: Yes Yes Yes !!!!!!!
That should be a really good time to upgrade, hopefully, by then, the Diamond will have been out for some time, with lots of reports on it (and probably several cooked roms!) and the Raphael will be out, and it sounds like the Xperia will have surfaced somewhere or other with enough info. So that sounds like it will be the best time that there has been for a while to choose. Plus, it will nearly be Christmas, so you can ask your nearest and dearest for lots of 'stuff' to go with the new phone.
The new iPhone will probably also be out too.
Spoilt for choice!
