Question: Sony Ericsson Car Handsfree HCB-700

I just purchased the Sony Ericsson HCB-700 Car Kit but my phonebook or contacts from my XDA Orbit 2 will not sync with it. Error message says "Phonebook not supported". Is there a fix for this?

Hi Ray. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth stack in Windows Mobile is limited to just the standard features. Any extra features added by the likes of SonyEricsson or Nokia are not supported. Have you made sure that the device is paired using the "Handsfree" profile and not just the headset profile? Other than checking that, I'm not sure there is much you can do.

Hi Ray, I have a Parrot CK-3100 Car Kit in my car, and that does import my contacts from my HTC Kaiser.
