Re: CoPilot has stopped!
Have you had problems with your storage card at all? I ask because there was a rogue batch of Transend storage cards that caused problems, what make is yours?

Re: CoPilot has stopped!
i had a similar problem, although a soft reset usually fixed the problem. once i applied the most recent software upgrade (7/1/0 it seems the problem has gone away... (fingers crossed!)

Its a Transend one but its a replacement. The 1st one I had was the faulty type. O2 gave me no problems getting it replaced, plus they didnt ask for the original card back. (I call it an appology present for my troubles. )
Having never carried out a hard reset I think I'll have to have a read through the forum first, especially as Ive got all the settings/3rd part applications running exactly as I want.

Re: CoPilot has stopped!
So did you have this problem with the original Transend card? If so it is possible that the replacement is the same batch, the later cards issued to overcome the problems were I think Sandisk.

Re: CoPilot has stopped!
I thought all the Transcend cards were faulty? Can't be certain on that though. Obviously a new batch might be different.

No, if I remember correctly the programme opened up as normal but wouldnt locate me on a map. (I had assumed that it was the maps that were faulty as I could get a sat. lock but not a location)
The replacement card worked fine for ages and then stopped about a month ago with exactly the same symptoms as the first post above. (Crashing straight after opening the application?!)

Umm, I'll try and make time over the weekend to see if a hard reset might work. Failing that I'll be onto Co-Pilot cust services again but my replacement Transcend card had worked fine, so I dont think its a problem with the card.

Re: CoPilot has stopped!
That's a strange situation. I wonder if the device could be the root cause?

Re: CoPilot has stopped!
Hey guys,
My copilot works now - but randomly.
So I launch it, fine, but from then on, at all various stages, even whilst navigating, it can just hang, with the red circle icn spinning round. It is never the same place. Could be when choosing location, or getting position fix, or after al that has done and I have been driving for a while.
This is after the hard reset, and outting everyhting back on!!!

yes, me. Copilot refused to boot (straight back to prog's screen) yesterday afternoon after working fine all morning. It then gave up the ghost altogether. I have done a soft reset this morning, but when I get to the reinstall screen after agreeing to the licence terms, I get a message "Installation of copilot.wm6ppc.cab was unsuccessful".
I feel a hard reboot coming on...
