What happened then did you fail the validation process? Could you explain please, and which version of Vista are you running, and which language did you want it in?

The link Boz gave in the previous page has WMDC 6.1 download links in all languages.

If you are having problems validating, then Windows is reporting that it is not a valid copy- either the serial number isn't recognised, or it has been reported as a corporate license installed on a consumer PC.

Does Windows Update work for you? If so, as I said befre, do a Windows Update while the phone is connected; If not, I'm afraid there is nothing you can do apart from check why your copy of Vista is not validating. WMDC is not included on the phone's CD anyway, so having the CD would not help.

thanks a lot cause ive updated my pc n got wmdc now its working properly,sorry for thanking u lately bcause my internet connection was not availeble.

Good stuff. It can certainly be a bit fiddly but I (usually) find it's worth the effort in the end.
