Re: softwere for htc touch cruise
What Operating System are you using on the PC? If it is Windows XP, you need a piece of software from Microsoft called ActiveSynch (I believe v4.5 was the last one).
If you are on Vista, you need Windows Mobile Device Centre (WMDC), also from Microsoft. A quick search in google will give you the links to download them.
If you are running Mac OSX or Linux, things are a bit more complex.
Let us know how you get on.

Re: softwere for htc touch cruise
With Vista you need Windows Mobile Device Centre.
If you have never connected before, Windows will need to download this, so you can either do it manually by searching the Microsoft site, or let the PC do it automatically.
To do it automatically, first connect your phone to the PC using the USB cable. A basic device driver will install itself but nothing else will happen. Now open Start and type 'Update' in the search bar, and choose 'Windows Update' from the list; In the Windows Update screen click 'Check for Updates' at the top left, and Windows will go off and find WMDC, then load it after a few prompts. It doesn't require a PC reboot.
Once installed, it may run by itself, or you may need to launch it- again click the Start button and type 'Mobile' in the search bar, which should find WMDC. From there you should be able to configure the connection as you wish.

Re: softwere for htc touch cruise
As neilm said before, if you just go to Google and type in WMDC you should find a link on the Microsoft website to download WMDC, which is the software that WAS on your CD. That's all you need.

Re: softwere for htc touch cruise
As Neilm said install Windows Mobile Device Centre available from here and your problem will be solved, there is nothing of importance on your CD to worry about having another copy, I have never even opened any with any HTC device I have had.

No problem. The link was provide by Boz just above (post #7). The word "Here" was highlighted in Red. Click on that to be taken to the download page.
