my orbit touchpad is not working pls help me

hi
my orbit xda o2 is not unlocking.it is showing decvice locked,when i use my stylus its not working(not unlocking),only i hear sounds.

i even removed battry and again satarted up, again same problem

everything is startingup but i cannot unlock and use the phone

plsss help

What type of lock did you set?

its showing device is locked
when i try with my stylus to unlock ther is no response onli i am getting sounds
even i can not make call or recieve calls as i can not go further than home screen
pls help me

You should be able to receive calls on a locked device, so there is something badly wrong here. All I can suggest is doing a hard reset.

when i did hard reset i am getting three colour screen only iam not getting any instructions

This looks like you are getting into the 'Bootloader' screen rather than getting a hard reset.

It isn't clear from your 1st post whether you have an Orbit or an Orbit2?

To Hard Reset an Orbit 1 :

Press both soft keys (these are the keys with straight lines next to the green and red phone keys) and insert stylus into soft reset button and press.

Release the soft reset button and keep pressing the soft keys.

When the "This operation will delete all your personal data, to manufacturer default" appears on screen.

Press Green call button to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.

To Hard Reset an Orbit 2:

Press the Windows and OK buttons while inserting the stylus into the reset hole at the bottom.

Release the stylus straight away while continuing to hold in the buttons

Now follow the onscreen instructions.
