cant get in to the message screen

Hi

Yes everything else works fine ,i did find i did have 2 storage cards showing at one point though

one was simply storage card with only inbox file in it (main memory i assume)
the other showed up as storage card 2 with all my files in it which were accessable.

If i try to tick save to storage card in message settings a tick appears in box but then nothing else on that screen will work untill i remove tick so have left it unticked at moment and everything seems to be ok

i have deleted entry that said storage card with only inbox as storage card 2 also had inbox.

This is a fairly common WM problem when OS/System files are set to save to Storage Devices.

During the device initialisation after a reset, the registry sees an instruction to save such as attachments, or caches to a storage device; however, sometimes the storage device hasn't initialised when the instruction is executed, so the OS thinks it has been removed, and recreates it; when the original one then initialises it is named Storage Card 2, or similar.

If this happens, DON'T save anything to either the real, or the phantom card and do another soft reset, hoping the devices initialise in the correct order next time.

Unless you work with large attachments, I'd suggest leaving them stored in Program Memory to save the risk of problems. You can always use 'Save As' to save attachments individually to the Storage Card if needed.
