Not convinced but if we do go that route then this forum will need renaming

Of course I'd have to say it's named incorrectly anyway.
best explaination so far suggests that the name prodigy was used internally within HTC before the device was released and subsequently named Wizard.
Cheers

I supposen it really doesn't matter, but we do like to be pedantic dont we
Whatever the naming, there are still 2 distinct variations of the basic model, though the square version never made it to the UK thank goodness.

Re: HTC Prodigy - Device Information
My understanding is the same as Neil's:
The name Wizard should be seen as the 'family' name. Within the Wizard family there are 3 different devices - WIZA100, WIZA110 and WIZA200.
The HTC name for the WIZA200 is Prodigy. Its the one all UK carriers have gone with.

Re: HTC Prodigy - Device Information
Hi wssherbiny
I used
XDA-Developers
for sourcing my WM6 upgrade for my wife's O2 MiniS. the site is far more technical than this but you can usually find an answer.
They even have a section for G4 devices....
Hope that helps....
