Re: HTC Shift coming closer

Yeah, I think I'd go HP before Dell. I've had "colourful" experiences with Dell machines in the past.

Re: HTC Shift coming closer

Oh yes not to mention we've got to format and load 15 laptops tomorrow - a long day - all becuase a Dell API (not known which yet) conflicts with out new remote access software.

Re: HTC Shift coming closer

We have about 5 standard builds which apply to three lappys only - the rest will be stanard plus plus minus, minus... Plus about 5 differnt models of lappy to not worth ghosting - mind the the company won't sanction buying that so thats not an option...

Re: HTC Shift coming closer

Isn't that a lot of pain? You'd save hours with a decent unattended setup.

Just FYI I upgraded our unattended stuff the other week and decided to try the SP3 Beta. It all seemed pretty cool bar the HD audio but when I ran windows update it picked up 20 critical patches. 20!
