SnapVUE

I have some difficulty with attachments in SnapVUE. They are eventually downloaded but then the system seems unable to handle them. Even a basic MS Word document (which the S730 and Touch Cruise will open) is not recognised. Is there something I need to do in SnapVUE or is this a major step backwards by HTC?

Re: SnapVUE

No I've noticed similar problems myself - basically due to SnapVue having too much cut out - including office files support.

Re: SnapVUE

That's a big negative. Do you know if it's possible to configure Outlook in Vista to do the same sync though the mobile connection?

Thanks,
David

Re: SnapVUE

I mean to use Outlook in Vista on the Shift to connect to the Exchange server. When I set up the email account, under the 'Connection' tab I set 'Connect using my phone line'. With this setting I then try a 'Send/Receive' but this fails. Do I need to set something else?

Regards,
David

Re: SnapVUE

If the device is connected and with internet sharing on it will be detected as a network connection and in the absense of a LAN being connected Vista should just use it automatically to connect.
