Well, I've had the Orange HTC Diamond for comming upto a week now and so far its been alright. Except for one big bug bear. So far every single time I've plugged it in to charge overnight, I've woken up to find it frozen. I need to remove the battery and wait for a minute before starting it up.
Has anyone else with one of these new phones come across this or a solution to it? I've tried the usual clear storage and soft reset to no avail.
I have been using the charger that was supplied with the orbit 2. I will try with the supplied charger and see if it makes any difference.
(I was using the Orbit 2 charger cable as its already run where I like it and I couldn't be bothered to change it lol)
That's how I do it
The Diamond has a custom charger (all glossy with a white lighted logo) which uses the USB cable. It doesn't supply enough juice to charge my Ameo, so I use my Ameo charger for both, and I've not seen any of the freezing issues.

My HK version had a similar issue during the first week of ownership - my battery drained and the device would not recognize the charger or USB charger until i removed the battery and re-inserted it? Never happened since though...
