Hi All, I have reluctantly just received my new diamond on orange. I have still got my tytn 11 god bless it.

problems/
1/ the system is very slow, is there anything i can do to speed it up?
2/ How do i get gps maps working?
3/ Bluetooth, i have paired my phone with my car however every tiime i get in the car i have to add the password. Is there a way to auto connect?
4, when i receive an email or a text message my phone does NOT light up, how do i get it to light up?

1/ the system is very slow, is there anything i can do to speed it up? - There is alot that you can do, software hacks (CLick Here), Flash your ROM to the latest version (Click Here)
2/ How do i get gps maps working? - GPS maps to work will require software (TomTom, Garmin, Co Pilot etc)

Ablut flashing the lights. Go to sound and notifications, find incoming sms, email or whatever and then you have an option to turn the light on.

As far as Bluetooth is concerned you need to make sure that you turn on the bluetooth on your device before you get into the car NOT in discoverable mode and it should automatically connect up once you start up your car. If you do it the other way around or use discovery mode it will always prompt you for the password.

Hi, sorry to be such a pain, how do i go about flashing my rom? I have been advised to flash my rom but I have no idea how to do it or where to go to get the actual data i need.
Please help, i am currently back with my Tytn 11 until i can upgrade the diamond and have a good play with it. Love both products but if the diamond can do what the tytn can i would be very very happy. Overall what is the general feeling of the diamond from most users (who have got it setup correctly, not like me).

There are many ways to flash the ROM - HERE is a good starting point

Many users here have flashed the ROM - so if you unsure of anythin gthen just post back.
